earthandanimals

I'm Melissa, 22 years of age, Taken, Central NJ, Animal Lover. ♦ *Note: Most of these photos are not mine unless stated other wise.* ♦ I started this blog back in December of 2011 in hopes to get people more involved with wildlife and nature. My goal is for humans to understand that we as animals should respect other animals. For people to know what we have done and continue to do to this planet every single day. WE are destroying the land we all call home. It isn't fair and it's time we act NOW. I conclude that this is an animal/nature blog, it consists of 95% animal photos as well as landscapes. You will also notice that there are some random photos as well as text posts. Please feel welcome to ask me questions if you have any. Thanks. ♥

“Caught alive after a three-week hunt, an allegedly 21-foot-long (6.4-meter-long) and 2,369 pound saltwater crocodile—the biggest crocodile ever caught in the Philippines—is restrained on September 4, according to the Associated Press.”
Let me get this straight… they caught this magnificent giant and then put him on display in some cage in the middle of the Philippines? That’s just wonderful. How about you capture it, measure it, kiss it and then let it the fuck go. You know.. where he belongs.. in the wild!

i’m incredibly sad for this breathtaking creature and i wish there was a way for it live in peace but these peoples entire life is probably based on the waterway where they found it, letting it go would mean not only living in fear but also losing lives and livestock. so no they cannot just ‘let it the fuck go’

Yes, actually they could.

“I’m going to raise legitimate concerns about how the community of these people is probably much better off not letting this DANGEROUS FUCKING ANIMAL go back into the wild.”“I will insist that my position is correct with no further explanation or justifications.”
Great way to have a conversation.

Jesus fucking Christ. It lives in the fucking wilderness where it needs to hunt for it’s food. And insist all you want. They could have relocated it instead of killing it. THE END.

They caught it bc it was killing people. Should they have killed instead of keeping it alive?
